We are now a 501(c)(3) Charity!Thank you from El Camino Creative Inc.
We aim to lower the Recidivism rate by providing educational services to those in the system.
Through government grants and private donations, we can provide the incarcerated and formerly incarcerated population with desperately needed educational services and vocational training to help them re-enter society. This in-turn will lower the crime rate.

Why and How?
Reentry after prison can be difficult for many formerly incarcerated individuals, especially those who have never lived on their own. Vocational training & educational workshops provide the formerly incarcerated with the tools necessary to become entrepreneurs. We give them an opportunity to learn a tech trade. We provide them with all the tools and EEOC guidelines to survive the hiring process. We work with rehab facilities, probation & parole, and the courts. Our message is clear. We want to raise awareness that if administered properly, a second chance will lower crime in our precious communities. By donating to our cause you will be making your community safer.
MOST INDIVIDUALS ARE RELEASED WITH ADDICTION ISSUES
Need a rehab?
Sometimes we need a little help. Or a lot of help. One thing is for sure, if you’re out there doing bad you should take a break. Relax. See if sobriety is something you want or if it even fits you. It’s not for everyone. But it’s better than jail, prison or death. Check out two solid options.
Radical Honesty. Radical Transparency.
Punishment does not increase mental stability nor reduce the effects of trauma and exposure to poverty. Prisons and jails do not make people mentally healthy. Incarceration does not address addiction or substance abuse disorders. The criminal justice system needs to start focussing on education and vocational training. A new focus will insure that incarcerated individuals will come out prepared and ready to take on the world.
A Quick Navigation
What We Stand For
Historical statistics prove that when a felon finds employment that they are happy with, the recidivism numbers go down into the single digits. Unfortunately, incarcerated individuals do not get the skills necessary to come out of jail or prison to get an good job and survive. They are not equipped to handle the stressors of everyday life. In fact, they get very few usable skills, they hate, that’s pretty much it in a nutshell. The skills that these warriors would learn would lower recidivism, curb violence, and reunite families. Because the rules regarding housing and employment are so set in stone, these men and women need all the tools necessary to win.
Everyone on this planet deserves an education. Everyone on this planet deserves to able to use said education for a job. Private prisons are destroying this dream by not providing education and vocational training.
Felons in the USA
Who still can’t vote
Our goal is to provide educational and practical vocational training to the men and women who are currently in our criminal justice system. We are NOT advocating for better treatment or lesser sentences. We are trying to provide more educational programs to incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals. The goal is that they have the necessary skills needed to find gainful employment. With a good job, these individuals will not reoffended hence lowering or ending the recidivism rate in our country.
We Create Opportunities
In order to qualify for certain grants we must maintain that we are solid at what we do. We live and breath to provide felons the opportunity to survive.
The purpose of our portfolio is to show that we have the skills necessary to teach and train. And that we advocate for human rights.
Felons are some of the greatest artist on the planet. Let them live by helping them move forward. We would you want to punish someone who in the eyes of the law, the courts, the highest power declared them free men and women?

A Social Worker. A Counselor. A Friend. Can Make All The Difference
THESE ARE THE SILENT UNSUNG HEROES WHO MAKE THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCES
Social Workers, Doctors, Counselors, Addiction Therapist, And Everyone In The Mental Health.
Clinical Social Workers
Social workers in a criminal justice setting often assess new arrivals to the prison and develop inmates’ treatment and support plans. Also, they provide individual therapy and psychosocial, educational support groups; provide referrals to medical or mental health services, and track the progress and compliance of inmates.
License Drug and Alcohol Counselor
This person is vital to the success of the inmates in a more micro setting. A compulsive or regular substance use counselor supports people with drug and alcohol problems, eating disorders, and other behavioral issues. They teach individuals how to modify their behavior with the intention of full recovery.
Rules of Being A Felon
Probation is God
Your life are in their hands while you are on Probation/Parole. Build a professional and respectful relationship with your Probation Officer.
Zero Police Contact
If you think something is a bad idea, then you’re probably right. Do what you can to stay away from scenarios that could end with police contact. If you find yourself in that position, contact your Probation Officer IMMEDIATELY. You might be surprised what he/she has to say.
This is a no-brainer. Stay away from any and all sorts of guns and other weapons whether it is in your family, friend, or an acquaintance’s possession.
The only person who can help you is yourself in any and all situations. Do not let yourself fall down the rabbit hole. If you need help, don’t be afraid to reach out. Being aware that you need help is not a weakness.
WE ARE LESS THAN HUMAN
Society Views Us
Instead of something happening (this just seems like a no-brainer), maybe we should provide a little more assistance to felons. Change laws regarding what formerly incarcerated people can and can’t do. Put a more efficient classification system plan in place and get an employment certification to enable certain felons to get a job. Instead, their impact on society would be what they could bring to the table, the education they have, and the fact that they will be the best candidate.

AFTER YOUR SENTENCE
THE PROBATION & PAROLE OFFICER
After your sentence you will likely be sentenced to probation or parole. Do your time wisely. It’s advisable to do it away from the negativity that surrounded you before.
How many violations is it going to take for you to understand that the probation officer are there to help?
