The issue of reentry reform has gained significant attention in recent years as societies recognize the importance of providing support and opportunities to individuals reintegrating into communities after incarceration.

ANDRES

Our Mission

We firmly believe that individuals who have served their sentence and fulfilled their obligations to the courts and victims deserve a fair and equal opportunity to reintegrate into society—NO strings attached. This will keep our communities safe.

Our Vision

We vision a more straightforward and efficient method for individuals with prior criminal records to expunge their records once the courts have discharged their sentence. It is unacceptable that the stigma of being a “felon” sticks with them indefinitely.

Our Problem

One critical aspect of reentry reform is addressing addiction and substance abuse among formerly incarcerated individuals. Addiction poses significant challenges to successful reintegration, affecting communities, public safety and families,

Albuquerque, New Mexico

Addressing crime in Albuquerque requires a multi-faceted approach that involves collaboration between law enforcement agencies, community organizations, and city officials. Strategies such as community-oriented policing, proactive enforcement, and targeted interventions can help reduce crime rates and improve public safety. Additionally, investing in social programs, education, and economic development can address the underlying factors that contribute to criminal behavior.

El Camino Creative Inc role in all of this.

Reintegrating into society post-release from jail is a daunting challenge, especially for those without independent living experience. Our program tackles this issue head-on by offering vocational training, educational workshops, and entrepreneurship courses to ex-convicts. We lay emphasis on technology-based trades and instruct them on navigating the hiring process in compliance with EEOC guidelines. Additionally, we collaborate with probation and parole officers, rehabilitation centers, and the court system to propagate the importance of second chances and curb crime in our communities. Your donation to our cause is critical in ensuring the safety and well-being of your community.
