MDC is in a world of hurt right now with reports that employee email accounts don’t work, the electricity is off, the door won’t close and the cameras are broken. WOW.
What happens when the network generators go off at a significant county jail? It’s not something we think about. It’s something that most facilities aren’t equipped to handle, and to even wonder would be a nightmare. The Metropolitan Detention Center has no power. I mean the literal definition of power. They are not in control of the situation. The cameras no longer work, the doors to the cells no longer close, the counselors and social workers are not even going into the Pods at this second in time. Stay tuned!
No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful.
